Labour Party Chieftain Extollles Governor Otti For Awarding And Commencement Of Abam Ring Road.
A Labour Party Chieftain and an unrepentant follower of Abia State Governor, Dr. Alex Chioma Ndi” Abam” Otti, Hon. Lukman Ukara has extolled the Executive Governor of Abia State, Dr. Alex Otti for award and commencement of over 22 kilometers Abam Ring Road.
Speaking while touring the road, the Senior Legislative aide to the Governor stated that the Governor has wiped away the tears of the people of Abam Onyerubi by not only awarding the road but commencing the project in earnest. He described the Abia State Chief Executive as Chioma Ndi Abam for all the voluminous projects he has been undertaking in Abam Onyerubi clan since assuming office.
Earlier, the illustrious son of Abam Onyerubi who is also a former member of the Abia State House of Assembly, addressed the elders in council, women, men, Youths and children of Idima Abam and Ndi Agwu Abam in their respective communities where he analyzed the history of the project, and what is expected from the people.
He maintained that the people must show maximum cooperation with the contractors and state government to see that the project is actualized, he encouraged the people to work in harmony with the contractors.
The people of Idima Abam who were filled with joy could not hide their feelings towards the Governor as they expressed their thoughts through their spoke’s persons who described Governor Alex Otti as a Godsent, a Visionary Leader, a listening Governor that has come to wipe away the tears of the people of Abam Onyerubi. They promised to always support the aspirations of the Governor, protect the equipment of the contractors and provide adequate enablement for the success of the job. They stated that they are looking forward the day the Governor will come to officially Flag-Off of the project and exhibit how happy and grateful they are.
At Ndi Agwu, Hon. Luke reemphasized the love Governor Alex Otti has for the people of Abam Onyerubi which the people must guide and protect with jealousy, stressing that Nde Abam have benefited immensely in the administration of Governor Otti through numerous appointments their of sons and daughters in to his government and turning Abam Onyerubi in to a construction site.
In their response, they expressed joy in what the Governor is doing and pledged their unalloyed support and loyalty to the Governor and his administration.
Highlights of the day was intercessory prayers prayed for Governor Alex Otti by the people of Idima Abam and declaration of the Governor as their sole candidate for 2027 Governorship election.
The Abam Ring Road got across, Idima Abam, Ndi Agwu Abam, Atan Abam, Ahuma Abam and Ndi Okereke Abam connecting the Abam -Arochukwu major road.
The project also includes constructio of a bridge .
