Senator Austin Akobundu Salutes Christians at Christmas
…urges demonstration of love for one another

The Senator representing Abia Central Senatorial District in the National Assembly, Senator Austin Akobundu has felicitated with Christians all over Nigeria particularly the people of Abia Central Senatorial District on the occasion of the Christmas and New Year festivities.

In his message, Akobundu saluted the people of Abia Central, Abia State and Nigeria as a whole for their resilience in the midst of the social, political and economic challenges facing the nation and urged them to keep hope alive. He further enjoined them to emulate the virtues of Christ whose birth is the reason for the season by showing love and living in peace with one another.

While thanking his constituents for their support and prayers throughout the outgoing year, Akobundu promised a better and greater delivery of dividends of democracy to them in the coming year and beyond.

In concluding his message, the Senator who is also the Deputy Chairman of the Senate Committee on National Planning and Economic Affairs, wished all a Merry Christmas and a New Year of progress, peace and prosperity.
