Good impresses; better transforms ~ Ike Okorafor
2027 will be challenging, but its victory is not beyond reach. Even in a season where the Labour Party government enjoys public affection in Abia, we must remember a deeper truth: something may look good today, yet something better, stronger, fairer, more sustainable is possible.
For me, that ‘better’ is rooted in inclusive governance where every community has a seat at the table, not just a handful of elites. It is a future where the separation of powers is respected across all tiers of government, ensuring accountability, balance, and real service delivery. It is a system where development projects emerge from community engagement, not top‑down decisions that ignore the people they claim to serve.
Abia deserves transparency in the award of contracts, clarity in project management, and a government that treats citizens as partners in progress not spectators. Our communities should enjoy access, voice, and participation, not be sidelined while a few decide their fate.
As a full‑fledged APC member, loyal, committed, and unwavering. I believe in the strength of a national party with the reach, structure, and responsibility to deliver this ‘better.’ It’s my party or nothing, because I know what APC can unlock for Abia when governance aligns with national opportunities and local realities.
2027 will test us, but we are ready. With courage, clarity, and conviction, we will show Abians that progress is not a performance, it is a partnership. And together, we will build the future our people truly deserve.
