The Mbutu Amairinisii Community gathers, passes vote of confidence on Governor Alex Otti’s leadership
The apex socio-political association of Mbutu Ngwa, known as Mbutu Amairinisii Political Forum, has reaffirmed their support for Governor Alex Otti with a vote of confidence at the Mbutu Amaranisii civic hall.
In their communique, the organisation stated that Governor Otti’s track record, having undergone rigorous scrutiny, is found to be highly praiseworthy and deserving of accolades.

The group further used the opportunity to respectfully urge the governor to consider the needs of the Mbutu political bloc (comprising of wards 3 and 4) especially concerning basic infrastructure, social amenities and political portfolios.
The association additionally solicits the governor’s attention towards the upcoming 2027 general election, respectfully requesting his backing to ensure an individual from Mbutu Amairinisii Political bloc (wards 3 &4) clinches the Labour party ticket for the Abia State House of Assembly considering the imbalance in the present distribution of political offices insisting that since the Governor is from Nvosi constituency, equity and the law of natural justice presuppose that the Abia State house of Assembly ticket should come to Mbutu bloc emphasizing that this will catalyse massive support of the Mbutu bloc irrespective of party affiliations. The body pleads with the Governor for inclusiveness of the good people of Mbutu bloc in the scheme of things with respect to the aforementioned, appointive positions and infrastructure in recognition of the brazen assiduous efforts of our Sons and daughters from this bloc that gave him massive supports when the odds were against him.
